Modalities Of Therapy & Counseling Services

As a psychodynamic-oriented and attachment-conscious therapist, my first priority when working with clients is to build a trusting and emotionally safe partnership. I hope to provide an inviting, empathic, supportive, and non-judgmental space to explore the depth of your inner truth and to help you actualize the life you envision for yourself.

Together, we will explore past experiences, including family dynamics and your early life, in addition to current thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behavior to provide insight into how you can better cope with issues impacting you now. Often, we are more resilient than we believe we are - I'm here to help you harness that strength and find hope again.

I am a thoughtful, honest, and down-to-earth clinician who prides herself on being authentic and present in my relationships with clients. Sessions will follow a person-centered approach, meaning we will focus on the issues that are most pressing while bearing in mind our larger treatment goals and what you hope to gain out of our work together. I borrow from a number of different empirically supported therapy modalities, including but not limited to psychodynamic, humanistic, motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies.

Therapy can be challenging, at times, but I hope to meet those challenges with warmth, gentleness, and even humor in the right moments.
